+1 Stone Skipping Pets & Eggs Guide — Hatches, Boosts and Best Value
How pets work in +1 Stone Skipping: Eggs and what hatches from them (including the Common Egg), the boosts pets apply, and how to use them across Rebirth runs.
Pets are the game’s permanent stat multipliers. The official description is one line — “Collect pets for powerful boosts!” — and that line carries most of your late-game scaling: pets multiply the throws, training and Wins that everything else builds.
Eggs: where pets come from
Pets hatch from Eggs, and Eggs come from two places:
- Buying with Wins — the standard route; Eggs sit in the same Wins economy as stones and upgrades
- Codes — free Eggs have shipped in code rewards before: the September
WORLD3code granted a Common Egg, and the currentSECRETcode rewards “Potions and Eggs” (checked October 2, 2026, on the codes page)
The Common Egg is the confirmed entry tier, which tells you the system has rarity tiers above it — standard simulator design, though the developer has not published the full egg catalog or hatch odds.
What pet boosts actually do
Pets grant “powerful boosts” — the official wording — that apply to your progression numbers. In practice that means your throws, training speed and Wins rate all benefit while a pet is equipped. The exact multiplier values per pet are not published; what matters strategically:
- A pet is permanent, a Potion is not — Potions burn out in minutes; a pet’s boost is on every future throw
- Pets compound with everything — the same percentage boost is worth more as your throwables and zones improve, so a pet hatched today outperforms its day-one value forever
The efficient pet routine
- Hatch your first Egg as soon as you can afford one — before cosmetic anything; the boost applies to every subsequent Wins-per-throw
- Redeem Egg-rewarding codes on sight — free hatches are strictly free value;
SECRETis the current one to claim - Equip your strongest pet after every Rebirth — rebirth resets your run, and re-equipping your pet is step one of the post-rebirth routine
- Keep hatching as Wins allow — more pets means better equips, and better equips raise the multiplier floor for the next world
What is not verified (yet)
The community has not settled a verified pet list with names and multipliers, and competitor wikis that fill those tables with guesses get corrections wrong more often than right. What this page commits to: Eggs exist, Common is a confirmed rarity word, boosts are real and permanent, and the Hatch economy runs on Wins and codes. When the developer publishes more — or a world update expands the system — this guide updates with a dated changelog like everything else on this wiki.
Quick answers
Do pets survive Rebirth? The boosts pets grant are permanent stat multipliers; plan your rebirth timing around hatching first so the new run starts boosted.
What is the best pet? Undocumented so far. Any equipped pet beats no pet — get one hatched and upgrade opportunistically as free Eggs arrive from codes.
